ExtraMenu Order your menu

Sales kit for marketers

Everything you need to introduce the smart menu to a restaurant: what to say, what to show and how to answer objections.

30-second pitch

The pitch

With a smart menu, guests scan the QR code on the table and see your menu, with photos and current prices, on their phone. No app to install. Unlike ordinary QR menus, it has an AI assistant that answers guests' questions: "What's vegetarian?", "Does this have dairy?". You change prices and sold-out dishes yourself, from your phone, in seconds. We build the menu for you, and the whole package is 5 million toman.

Three messages the customer should remember:

  1. The smart assistant answers the repetitive questions instead of the waiter.
  2. Prices and availability change instantly, without reprinting.
  3. We build the menu; the customer only sends a link or photos.

Good-fit customers

  • Modern cafés and restaurants with younger guests used to QR codes.
  • Restaurants that change prices often and are tired of stickers on the menu.
  • Large, varied menus where guests struggle to choose.
  • Tourist areas and hotels: English interface, and an assistant that answers in the guest's language.
  • Health-focused, vegan and diet restaurants where allergens and calories matter.
  • Places that are short on waiters at peak times.

Discovery questions

Before pitching, use these to find the customer's pain and lead with it:

  1. How often do you change prices? What does reprinting the menu cost each time?
  2. When a dish runs out, how do guests find out?
  3. What do guests ask your waiters most?
  4. At peak times, how much time do waiters have to explain the menu?
  5. Have you had foreign guests or guests with food allergies? How did you help them?
  6. Do you have a QR menu now? (If yes: is it a PDF, or can guests search and filter it?)

Value for each role

Owner

  • No more printing costs
  • A modern, professional brand image
  • Insight into guests from question reports

Floor manager

  • Sold-out dishes flagged instantly
  • Waiters spend less time explaining
  • Section serving hours handled automatically

Chef

  • A "Chef's pick" badge
  • Accurate ingredients and allergens reach guests
  • Dish photos as they are served

Guest

  • No app to install
  • Search and filter by diet
  • Ask the assistant without feeling awkward

Demo script (5 minutes)

  1. Hand the phone to the customer. Open the demo menu (get its link from your sales manager) and let them scroll.
  2. Search: search for an ingredient such as "mushroom".
  3. Filter: pick "gluten-free" or exclude "milk" and show how the menu narrows.
  4. Assistant: tap "Ask the assistant" and let the customer ask their own question. This is the "aha" moment.
  5. Panel: mark a dish sold out in the panel and refresh the menu so they see it change.
  6. Wrap up: "We build the menu. Just send a link or photos of your current one."
Run the demo on the customer's own phone. Scanning and asking themselves is far more convincing.

Handling objections

"It's expensive."

Add up a few rounds of reprinting and the time waiters spend explaining the menu. The smart menu is built once and every change afterwards is free. We even build it for you.

"Our guests are older and not comfortable with phones."

Keep the paper menu. The smart menu complements it; whoever wants to, scans. It opens with just the phone camera, no install or sign-up.

"What if the assistant gets it wrong?"

It answers only from your own menu, never invents dishes or prices, never calls a dish "safe" for an allergy, and refers guests to staff. You can read every conversation in the panel.

"I don't have time to enter the menu."

You don't need to. Send a link or photos of the current menu; we enter every dish and hand over a finished menu.

"We already have a QR menu."

If it's a PDF, guests can't search or filter, sold-out dishes aren't marked, and there's no assistant. That's exactly the difference.

"Guests have weak internet."

The menu is light, needs no install and opens quickly on ordinary mobile data. If the assistant is unavailable, the menu still works.

"I need to think about it."

Offer to fill in the order form together now. Placing an order commits them to nothing; our team calls to agree the details.

Text / WhatsApp after a call

Hi, thanks for your time today. As we discussed, a smart menu with an AI assistant costs just 5 million toman, and we build the menu for you. To order, fill in this form and attach a link or photos of your menu: https://extramenu.ir/order

Follow-up a few days later

Hi, hope you're well. Have you had a chance to think about the smart menu? If you have any questions I'm happy to answer them, or show you a short demo in person. https://extramenu.ir/order

Placing the order

Once the customer agrees, fill in the order form together right away. Have this ready:

  • Name and mobile number of the owner or manager
  • Restaurant name and city
  • A link to the current menu, or clear photos of every page
  • Their Instagram page, if they have one
  • In "Anything else?": your own name as the referrer, a good time to call, and the number of branches

What not to say

  • Don't say guests can order or pay through the menu; that isn't available yet.
  • Don't say the assistant guarantees anything about allergies; it deliberately refers guests to staff.
  • Don't promise a custom colour scheme or layout; every menu uses the same professional template.
  • Don't quote a fixed assistant usage cost; say it's deducted from prepaid credit and our team will explain the details.
